Opening Games
Congratulations to the 2nd and 3rd XI on recording victories in their opening games of the new season this weekend. 1st XI went down to a close defeat at Castleford with lots of positives to take from the game. Results/Scorecards are available in the results section.
Memberships are due by the 7th of May, once all teams have completed their opening fixtures. £50 Senior, £25 Junior.
Facebook - We now have a Facebook page under 'Hull Cricket Club'. All current and ex members, supporters are encouraged to Join.
Dave Rudd - 'Marathon Fundraiser'. Dave completed the Rotterdam Marathon in a Personal Best time of 4hours 4minutes and 5 seconds. A Fantastic effort!! In the process raising over £400 for the club through the Guess the Score forms.

Nets are currently taking place at YPI. Wednesday 6pm - 8pm
Fitness sessions run by the new club Physio and Fitness Trainer Stuart Leake are taking place at David Lloyd Fitness Centre, Kingswood every Thursday night @ 8pm. £2 a session
BONUS BALL ****PLEASE TAKE NOTE*****
The club is looking to revamp the Bonus Ball scheme and change to a 100 Club, which was trialled unsuccessfully a couple of seasons back. We now feel we are in a better position to run this scheme. The bonus ball as it stands consists of many ex/old members of the club and as such we are hoping many of our current playing members will join up. Prizes will be £100, £50 and £25 per month with a subscription of £5 per month (instead of £1 a week bonus ball). More details have been circulated via email and on Facebook. First Draw to take place last Saturday in May. As many members as possible to sign up please. Letters will be also be going out this week and are available from Willo.
Advertising
The club is making a real push to increase advertising and fundraising revenue into the club. Advertising boards are available along the new boundary fence priced at £150 (1st year) and £100 per year after. More details on all sponsorship opportunites will be available on the website. You will see new boards appearing on the ground in the next few weeks.
New Players
The club is open to any new members who wish to join. We are the only club in the area who still run 4 Saturday sides and as such there are opportunities for all levels to play cricket. Our 1st XI compete in the ECB Yorkshire Premier League offering the highest standard of cricket within Yorkshire. If you would like any details please contact us through the website or feel free to come along to winter nets (details above).
